I’m a musicologist by training, then spent a decade in finance & consulting while reading every Michael Pollan book and subscribing to every CSA box, trying to understand what made food healthy. In 2016 I decided to chase the passion: I started a fresh snack business and was elected Chair of Slow Food San Francisco.
I am a Emmy and James Beard Award-nominated writer, producer, and director. I spent a decade producing some of Food Network’s most popular shows; in 2016 I launched my own video production company. I’m an eight-time (and counting) James Beard Foundation Awards judge.
